Grass Fed Beef
Now accepting reservations for 2012

We carefully raise a limited number of  grass fed steers and Meadow Veal calves each year. Buying grass fed beef direct from the farmer is an economical, healthy choice for your family.

New! For 2012
New this season is our Meadow Veal. Our Meadow Veal is raised just like the rest of our beef herd with our calves spending their days out in the pasture with their dams, nursing, eating and playing. These calves are harvested at the end of the season when they are still tender and flavorful.  Here is an article in the New York Times about the new trend in pasure raised veal.

We are accepting deposits for 2012 steers now.

Our cattle spend their entire days munching on the best pasture we know how to grow. The lush carpet of brome, rye, fescue, timothy and clover produces moderate, but steady growth in our steers. We supplement them year round with a salt and vitamin mix and feed them hay when the snow cover is too deep in winter.

Our beef is sold by hanging weight and is available by the whole, half or quarter.  Delivery dates are approximate and are based on our judgement of the animals finish, which ensures a quality product.
